Hey y’all! Or should I say
howdy? Maybe Grüß Gott, the
traditional Austrian greeting, is more appropriate. No matter what greeting, I
am so happy to welcome you to my blog. I’m Michelle Bizzell, a junior at the
University of South Carolina, majoring in International Business and Marketing,
with a minor in German. Originally, I hail from the proud Lone Star State. Then,
for college, I traded my Texas two-step for the South Carolina shag. Now I’m off
to learn the Viennese Waltz. This spring I will be studying abroad in Vienna,
Austria at die Wirtschaftsuniversität
Wein (The Vienna University of Economics and Business).
To say that I am excited
would be a massive understatement. Just preparing for my trip has been an
emotional roller coaster, and it keeps going up. I don’t leave for another
month, however. So, until then, I will have sweet dreams of visiting Weiner Kaffeehaus (Viennese coffeehouses) and the Schönbrunn Palace.
